Medline’s Type IIR Surgical Facemask is a fluid-resistant surgical mask, which provides the highest standard of reliable barrier protection due to its fluid-resistant capabilities and bacterial filtration efficiency of 98 per cent.
For a better match with the type of protection against fluids that is required, our Type IIR Surgical Facemask has two different configurations:
4-layer fluid resistance:
Outer layer: Spunbond
Second layer: SMS fabric
Filter layer: Melt blown
Inner layer: Thermalbond
3-layer fluid resistance:
Outer layer: blue spunbond
Inner layer: white spunbond
Filter layer: white melt blown
These surgical masks also include the following features:
