Medline’s Ultrasorbs Drypads facilitate effective management and prevention of moisture-associated skin damage (MASD) in the most challenging of care settings.
These breathable and unique disposable drypads are particularly useful in high-dependency wards, like the intensive care, maternity and delivery units, or any other medical setting where moisture will have a moderate impact on patients’ skin.
Ultrasorbs Drypads provide greater comfort as a result of an ultra-soft, non-woven top sheet that reduces friction and shear while maintaining its core integrity and doesn´t cling to the skin even when wet. And to help reduce heat build-up, the drypad does not have a plastic back sheet. Its breathable 4-layer structure allows for airflow, thereby maintaining an optimal microclimate.
These pads help enhance patient comfort, thanks to their high-performing, air-laid core with superabsorbent polymers that lock moisture and odours away, helping to keep patients’ skin dry and prevent skin damage.
Avoid multilayer padding and repetitive bedlinen changes by using a single Ultrasorbs Drypad. Micropore AquaShield film technology is included in order to avoid strikethrough.
