Medline’s Paediatric Single-Tread Slipper Socks provide continuous gripping and help reduce falls by ensuring the youngest patients, infants and toddlers, have added security while on their feet.
Paediatric falls prevention socks have an absorbent terrycloth interior that helps keep feet dry and comfortable by absorbing perspiration during wear. Similar to the double-tread slipper socks, the single-tread hospital patient socks have slip-resistant gripper treads fused to their soles. This provides traction assistance, preventing patients from slipping and falling.
The colour-coded sizing system promotes easy identification by staff, and the sizing is also indicated on each slipper’s sole. The labelling is as follows:
Blue for toddlers
Yellow for infants
