Medline’s MED-SOFT Disposable Pre-gelled Suction Liner provides a specially designed suction system for safe and easy handling of bodily fluids, liquids and aspiration waste. This closed suction system is made of single-patient-use liners and reusable canisters.
The MED-SOFT Disposable Pre-gelled Suction Liner helps facilitate safer disposal of bodily fluids with an appropriate dose of MED-GEL, which solidifies suctioned fluids. The MED-SOFT disposable suction liner also comes with an ultrasonically pre-sealed lid that has ports with four different diameters, allowing for mistake-proof connections. These intuitive component connections help increase your set-up/shutdown efficiency.
In addition, the MED-SOFT Disposable Pre-gelled Suction Liner boasts numerous features, including:
Antimicrobial filter
Anti-reflux valve to inhibit contamination by preventing backflow of bodily fluids
Mechanical shut-off valve to prevent overflow and suction line contamination
Expandable accordion to relieve internal pressure (built into 3-litre liners)
Easily expandable for improved fluid collection readings
Ultra-durable polyethylene to ensure safety and airtightness.
Furthermore, to meet various clinical needs for bodily fluid collection, the MED-SOFT Disposable Suction Liner is available in various capacities: one litre or 1.5 and 3 litres. It is compatible with an accompanying MED-SOFT Outer Canister of the same capacity.
The MED-SOFT solution is also available in kits, including suction tubing and a fingertip control vacuum valve.
