Medline’s Laparoscopic Veress Needle offers a specially designed solution for use during laparoscopic procedures, in order to establish pneumoperitoneum prior to the placement of trocars.
The Laparoscopic Veress Needle features a blunt inner stylet with insufflation holes and a sharp outer cannula. The sharp outer cannula traverses the peritoneum, and the blunt inner stylet extends for the insufflation of carbon dioxide in the abdominal cavity. You connect to the insufflation tube, thanks to an integrated luer lock connector, which will ease the set-up process.
For greater performance and a lowered risk of cross-contamination, our Veress needles are made of stainless steel and have been sterilised using ethylene oxide. Medline’s Laparoscopic Veress Needle is available in two sizes, 120 mm and 150 mm, in order to meet of your needs.
