Medline’s Impervious Stretchable Stockinette is recommended for use during orthopaedic, arthroplasty, as well as hand, knee, ankle, foot, limb and vascular surgical procedures.
This stockinette offers a better fit on a patient’s anatomy as it is made of a bilaminate fabric, and is stretchable and impervious. This provides maximum sterility and a barrier against fluids. In addition, to simply unroll the stockinette on the patient’s arm or leg, the stockinette comes with two non-woven pulling ties.
Finally, both lower and upper extremities can be covered for surgical procedures, as this stockinette is available in different sizes.
