The Hudson Non-Rebreathing High-Concentration Elongated Oxygen Mask is an ideal solution for the delivery of high-concentration oxygen and is suited to both nasal and oral administration.
A mask and 210-cm oxygen tubing come in this set. This mask features a 750-ml reservoir bag and two flap valves located on its sidewall. These valves can be closed with a silicone membrane to minimise the entry of room air and thereby increase the concentration of the applied oxygen.
This mask helps enhance patients’ comfort level via its anatomical design and greater flexibility. In addition, staff can more easily monitor the procedure, as the oxygen mask is made of transparent plastic.
The recommended oxygen delivery for high-concentration masks is between 5 and 15 litres per minute and 69 to 100 per cent oxygen concentration can be achieved, depending on the flow rate.
