Medline’s High-Absorbency SAP Bed Underpad helps with containing moderate to heavy moisture, as well as surface protection. This underpad is a procedure pad that is equipped with superabsorbent polymers (SAP), a feature that increases the level of protection provided.
The high-level absorption of our bed underpad can be attributed to the fluid-containing cellulose fibre material, the SAP and its impervious polypropylene back sheet—which prevents strikethrough during use. In addition, to prevent it from being shifted on the bed, the polypropylene backing consistently helps the absorbent underpad maintain the desired positioning.
In order to keep patients comfortable, while consistently protecting beds, the bed protection underpad features a non-woven top sheet that feels soft to the touch. In addition, these underpads help control odour and have dimensions of 60 x 60 cm.
