Medline’s Gemini Dual-Colour 75-G Bonded Sterilisation Wrap offers a wrapping solution for heavy to extremely heavy medical devices or instrument sets for use during sterilisation. It is made with two bonded pieces of SSMMS fabric.
Each of our 75-G wraps provides high-level barrier protection against fluids and particles by making it possible for healthcare workers to wrap medical devices with just one bonded sheet, offering the same kind of protection as two individual sheets. Gemini also has better adhesion properties, is easy to fold because of its soft low-lint fabric, and is compatible with sterilisation tape. It is, therefore, time-saving for end users.
Gemini’s strong multilayer and puncture- and tear-resistant fabric makes it easier for healthcare workers to see holes if they occur, as they are dual-coloured—blue and pink. This dual colouring allows for the colour coding of different instruments or procedures, or the differentiation of hospital-owned equipment from equipment on loan.
Furthermore, Gemini Dual-Colour Bonded Wrap is applicable to all major sterilisation cycles, including pre-vacuum steam cycles, gravity steam cycles, ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilisation and STERRAD® sterilisation.
