Medline's Exuflow Round Drain without Trocar helps prevent the accumulation of fluids or air, and eliminates dead space in a surgical wound. Made with 100 per cent medical-grade silicone, it provides a soft, flexible structure for kinking resistance.
The advanced design of this drain combines open and closed channels that, by way of a series of internal portals, are interconnected. This provides alternative pathways around obstructions and creates a strong negative pressure, which leads to an efficient fluid-removal process.
Meanwhile, the unique design of the drain helps to minimise tissue in-growth and, thus, patient discomfort. This is possible because of narrow ducts and recessed perforations within the ducts. In addition, the Exuflow Round Drain without Trocar is:

Transparent for clear visual drainage inspection
Impregnated with barium for X-ray detection
Fitted with an indicator dot to assist with drain placement
