Medline’s Ergosafe Surgical Clipper Blade promotes quick and efficient shaving in preparation for surgery or a medical procedure. When using an electric clipper versus a razor, you are helping preserve the skin’s integrity and preventing nicks and cuts.
The blade is designed to facilitate shaving, as it is positioned downwards to ensure a closer cut and do so without the need to push it against the patient’s skin. In addition, for greater safety and to prevent the risk of nicking and cutting, each blade integrates side guards.
To allow you to adapt to all types of procedures, three types of blades are available, based on shaving needs:
Narrow blade; to remove hair in difficult-to-reach or sensitive areas, such as the groin or armpits
Coarse blade; to remove thick or dense hair in areas such as the scalp or chest
Universal blade; for most preoperative hair removal needs, and can be used almost anywhere on the body.
These blades are non-sterile, disposable and can only be used with Medline’s Surgical Hair Clipper.
