Medline’s EasyBath® PLUS Antiseptic Patient Wash Gloves provide rinse-free patient-bathing gloves, especially created for antiseptic patient bathing, as they are impregnated with a two per cent chlorhexidine digluconate (CHG) solution.
Our impregnated wash gloves can be used both before and after surgical procedures, even on high-risk patients, as the two per cent CHG will act as a skin disinfectant and help with reducing the microbial load on skin. The bactericidal and yeasticidal efficacy is tested per BS EN 13624 and BS EN 13727. In addition, EasyBath PLUS reduces the risk of cross-contamination, eliminates the need for basins, soaps, linens and lotions.
The gloves’ design helps caregivers maximise patient-bathing time by effectively allowing for the use of both sides of the glove. EasyBath® disposable wash gloves can be used to clean eight areas of the body, including:
Face, neck and chest
Left arm and armpit
Right arm and armpit
Left leg
Right leg
Perineum
Back
Buttocks.
