Medline’s Dermadine Plus Impregnated Incise Film helps reduce microorganism-related activity between the skin and the film, allowing for an ideal sterile environment during surgical procedures and preventing risk of contamination. Dermadine Plus, like all other Dermadine medical incise films, is for use during the final step of preparing the surgical area in the operating theatre.
To ensure a sterile environment during incision and the general surgery, Dermadine Plus features an iodine-based antibacterial solution. Thanks to the slow-release iodine iodophors, with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against microorganisms on the skin, this film facilitates maximum sterility and less risk of contamination during the surgical procedure.
Additionally, as a fast-acting and long-lasting option, Dermadine Plus offers comfort to the patient via the strong, medical-grade adhesive, which leaves no residue behind on the patient’s skin. This product is designed to be thin and enveloping to conform to the patient’s body.
